Anthony Scaramucci, who spent eleven days as Donald Trump’s White House Communications Director in 2017, will headline a fundraiser for State Sen. Jon Bramnick’s bid for the Republican nomination for governor of New Jersey next month.
One week after Scaramucci was named to the White House post, Trump replaced his chief of staff, Reince Priebus, with Secretary of Homeland Security John F. Kelly. Kelly fired Scaramucci four days later.
After that, Scaramucci became a vocal Trump critic and in 2020, was among a group that led a super PAC that supported Joe Biden for president.
Bramnick has said he will not vote for Trump in November and suggested he will support someone else via a write-in vote.
